"Todd does alot of volunteer work when it comes to animals and for the military veterans. We met at a very difficult time in my life. I had just returned from discharge in Iraq as wounded veteran. He was doing volunteer work for Abandoned Pet Rescue where he would volunteer at the shelter and did fund raising for the animals. His name was on a preferred list for VA Military and Veterans for housing assistance. I had came to the shelter since my place was bought by a company that was no longer allowing animals. He helped me buy my first home in a place where I could keep my service animal and get access to the medical care that I needed at the VA. I was very stressed about losing my home and was anxious that I may have to place my best friend up for adoption at the shelter.
