Owning property on Maui has been a dream of mine since my first visit in the mid-1990s. During a visit in 2014, I contacted Tina to explore the possibility of purchasing a piece of real estate, and Tina proceeded to make my dream a reality. When I first contacted Tina, I wasn't sure what I wanted. In a very short amount of time, Tina showed me a variety of properties in my price range in the areas I was interested in, and based on my reactions to what she was showing me, narrowed it down until we found the perfect property. She helped me make an offer, and in just a few weeks it was mine. Throughout the process, from our first contact to today, well after the close of escrow, Tina provided and continues to provide outstanding services. I am grateful for her assistance, and I feel I have made a friend on the island.

About a year before I finally decided to list my property, I interviewed several realtors. What struck me right away with Billy, both in person and when I researched his website and marketing techniques for other listings he was carrying, was that he was by far and away the most professional and grounded realtor that I had researched or met in the upcountry area, and he had an extremely high level of business acumen geared for the market that I needed him to know. When I actually decided to list, his advice was invaluable in figuring out the best price point to enter into the market, and he spent A LOT of time getting to know the property, and all of the history, so that he could be knowledgeable in every aspect and present it the way I would, as if I was sitting there doing the sales my self. And the rest of his team Tina, Pete, and Martin reinforced his efforts in a very meaningful manner. I live in California and Billy and his team completely handled the entire marketing strategy, sales strategy, and offer process, making it pretty convenient for me to continue my day to day work without having to micro-manage. I put my complete trust in Billy, and he got the job done with total integrity. I am very pleased with the overall effort, methodology and professionalism that this group achieved... with Aloha all the way.

What an amazing experience!This summer we decided to sell our home and leave Maui so we needed to have a quick and easy sale in order to make our timeline. Wow did we make a great decision when we chose Billy Jalbert at The Maui Real Estate Team! From the moment we met with him we knew we had made the right choice. Not only is Billy kind and caring, he is amazing at selling houses. He gave us advice on what upgrades to make, got professional photos and videos taken, was present at every showing, and even helped me bake cookies for our open house when I was running late. With his expert guidance, we were in escrow with a full price offer from a pre-approved buyer, within 2 weeks! The whole transaction was swift and smooth with him helping us through every detail. And the part that makes me want to thank him the most is that we were set to leave Maui the morning of our closing and on the final walk through one of our air conditioning units suddenly wasn't working. I was at the airport boarding my flight when I got the call and didn't know what to do. Billy came to the rescue, calling the A/C company, having his lovely wife rush to meet them at the house, and figuring it all out for us so that we could close on time!
