John helped my girlfriend and I for almost 6 months during one of the toughest times in history to buy a house. Everytime he/we found something worth checking out, we'd go together and he would explain a lot about the area, the building type, original parts and updated parts, the neighborhood, the pros and cons of certain properties, etc. You could tell he knows his area well and has a lot of experience with real estate. We couldn't have asked for a better realtor. And in the end he would pick up the phone, text, or email back and forth with us any time we were stressed or had questions about the process (first time buyers). He also helped us figure out the best way to secure a lower interest rate, as they were skyrocketing in March and April. We gave him some solid ideas of what we were looking for in a long term home, and he nailed it with a majority of the homes we toured. We ended up finding the perfect house for us, that checked 95% of what we were looking for.

Mr. John Fennessey completely changed my perspective of buying a home. Everyone I know who has purchased a home told my husband and I that it would be one of the most stressful thing I will do in my life. Through the whole process I was waiting for the stress to kick in but Mr. Fennessey did not let that happen. He was there every step of the way. He was always in touch with us, letting us know when deadlines needed to be met and followed up with us to make sure we where on task with out making us feel stressed out. He has the perfect balance of seance of urgency and calmness. He took a personal interest in our life events wich made us feel cared about, and above all as his clients he had nothing but our best interest in mind and fought for us and our needs. John was very PATIENT with us. I was a first time homebuyer, not familiar at all with the process, and I had a lot of questions. We were looking for a small home on a small body of water, but otherwise did not know what we wanted. John took us to a variety of places in a variety of towns, on various bodies of water over the span of a few months. Then, suddenly and unexpectedly, we found OUR place. Everything happened very quickly from the bid to the final transactions, and John orchestrated every step of the way. We were in the house within 5 weeks. He gave us great referrals for home inspectors and home owners' insurance (saved us a ton of money by going local rather than a national brand). He was very knowledgeable about all of the communities and bodies of water he took us to. He is also a very kind man and easy to work with. I was so afraid that buying a house would be like buying a car with pushy sales people, but our experience could not be any further from that. John was wonderful!
