Joan Lamond is an incredible real estate agent, but more so, shes a phenomenal person. What you don?t think about when you start house hunting is how many hours you will be spending with this person, and we could not be happier with the time we got to spend with Joan when she was helping us find our dream home, spoiler alert, she did. We knew what areas we had in mind; Pasadena, Arroyo Seco, San Rafael, but beyond that we were pretty clueless, but Joan was not, she brings with her local expertise, knowledge and professionalism. She had so much patience with us as we were figuring everything out, and that?s the type of person you want in your corner. We ended up getting one of the coolest houses we had ever seen, a Linda Vista Estate at a below market rate in the hottest covid market ever on a deviated timeline that suited us, which just speaks to Joan as a skilled negotiator while being kind and gracious to all parties involved. She was quick with every response and was truly a guide on this journey. As far as I?m concerned Joan Lamond is the best real estate agent, and I would not want to work with anyone else for my future Pasadena real estate needs. One more thing; Joan is stylish, not just in the way she shows up but also with her eye. She sees opportunities in houses with decor and renovation, and gives great recommendations for where potential is hiding, a gift that I frankly find priceless.

We are so grateful for Joan! My husband and I met Joan at an open house over two years ago and instantly connected. We began our search together until the pandemic hit. This review has been on my mind since December, right before the current real estate boom, but I?ve just now gotten around to writing it (and almost six months after she sold my condo). After interviewing ten realtors to sell my property, I elected to interview the two who responded. The first was very street-wise, and as I suspected, they wanted to ?sell? the condo for less than the market average. This would drive up demand, they said. Based on their overall demeanor, it seemed to me to be a rather ?easy? way to sell a property (i.e., trying to get less than market value). Next, I interviewed the realtor I initially thought would be the best choice for my needs. Call it a hunch. Fortunately, I found Joan Lamond and the connection was instantaneous. Joan truly listened to my needs as a client. I never sensed frustration throughout a VERY complicated transaction. She was respectful and understood what I wanted. We worked as a team. Throughout the process, I felt Joan was looking out for my best interests. She handled the transaction efficiently, with grace, and also with a sense of style (which is important to me). I was also impressed with her effective marketing acumen, which makes robust use of social media. Selling or buying a property is stressful no matter the market conditions, and Joan was always a phone call or text away. I was very impressed with her level of genuine customer service, and industry knowledge. These skills helped me manage my stress throughout a rigorous escrow. In summary, Joan is real professional, a listener, knowledgeable, efficient, and personable, all the qualities one would hope to find in a realtor. I have referred her to my own family and will most certainly use her services again in the near future. Joan: you made it look so easy!
