This was our first time buying a home and not originally being from the area, we weren't sure how to choose a Realtor to represent us and felt a bit nervous about doing so. We found Tricia on Zillow and sent her an email to discuss her work and how she would represent us. She responded almost immediately during the evening, and we ended up speaking on the phone for nearly an hour. Tricia impressed us with her knowledge and confidence. We went to see a few homes with her (with no obligation), and it was clear she wanted to help us find a good home, not just sell us on something quickly.The Greater Salt Lake market is very competitive right now, and particularly competitive in the location and price range we were looking in. We probably saw 15-20 homes over the course of a few weeks. When we found the house we wanted, we knew we had to move quickly. Within 24 hours of the home being listed, there were multiple offers above list price. Tricia helped us submit an attractive offer without having to submit the highest purchase price. Within a few hours and a round of counteroffers, we were under contract. During the contract/escrow period, Tricia was helpful in educating us first time homebuyers and keeping us at ease. She helped us get everything we wanted in negotiations. We were absolutely thrilled with the outcome, financial aspects, new home, and Tricia herself. We're pretty happy where we are now, but if we decide to move in the future, Tricia will be our first call!
