We had a fantastic experience working with Crysta Metzger of Sothebys International Realty as our real estate agent. We interviewed several agents before selecting Crysta, who had been highly recommended by good friends of ours. We liked that she was assertive and a bit aggressive when necessaryaEUR"qualities we knew would be invaluable in someone representing and fighting for us. Once we found the Santa Barbara house we wanted, Crysta did an incredible job negotiating a purchase price that was much lower than we had expected, which was awesome! From there, she guided us through every step of the purchase and made the entire process remarkably easy. She connected us with a lender who secured a great mortgage interest rate, and she helped us find a roofer, plumber, inspectors, painters, and other professionals we needed along the way. She also recommended several insurance agents when we were looking for coverage. Crysta was responsive, knowledgeable, resourceful, and always looking out for our interests. Buying a house can be a stressful experience, but with her guidance, the entire process was surprisingly painless. We couldn't have been happier with our experience and would highly recommend Crysta to anyone looking for an agent who will truly advocate for them.

I'm not sure where to begin when it comes to singing Crysta's praises. I've been buying real estate for decades on the West Coast and have worked with many realtors over the years. I've never worked with anyone like Crysta. I first got to know her a few years ago, as a rental agent--in that capacity, she went above and beyond helping me rent my home. She was born to solve problems--great at working with people, and found me wonderful renters. Then I engaged her to work on a very complex real estate sale--she was strategic, thoughtful, and navigated an assortment of land use planners, real estate attorneys, agents, and clients with grace and business prowess. What was really amazing was that at each obstacle point along the way, Crysta was often the only person involved who could find a true creative win-win solution. Beyond this, she operates with a deep ethical compass, and while she's clearly savvy business person, I watched her make decisions that were grounded both in good business and decency. She was always able to find the greatest good for both me and the buyer. She's strategic, cares deeply about her clients, and even when others involved behaved unprofessionally, she always chose to treat them with fairness and take the high road, while also continuing to perform at the highest level in terms of business. I've known her for several years now, and she has sold 2 properties for me. She has earned my loyalty for her dedication, unmatched work ethic, creative problem solving, and positive attitude, not to mention her ability to get the job done and get the best deal for everyone involved. She's a work horse and knows Santa Barbara's real estate scene inside and out. Anyone involved in real estate would be lucky to have her on their team.

Crysta was a joy to work with and get to know. She was always on top of things and was dedicated to making a deal happen with a very challenging buyer.
