Our experience with Kari selling our house was absolutely disastrous. We were a little ambivalent from the onset because she seemed rushed when writing the listing but we had already decided by that point to go with her because of our first meeting and her reviews seemed respectable. We were led to believe by Kari that we had just missed the hot sellers market so when an offer came in on the very low end we felt compelled to take the offer. We felt as if we were never properly counseled on what to do. We were also not told that in the State of Maryland that the seller must contribute a huge amount of proceeds to the buyer which brought the net proceeds to us down even further. About 6 weeks goes by after closing and I spoke to a friend of ours whose son was searching for a home and said that housing inventory was very low and it was a sellers market! Our house showed extremely well according to buyers agents so I started to get very anxious. We are just so disappointed as we owned this house for 40 years and so sad to feel we were just a paycheck. Kari wasnt even present for the closing.
