Shawn Kelly provided excellent guidance, support, expertise, and patience throughout the process of selling our house.He shared our vision for this historic property and its value and understood its special needs. Throughout the renovation Shawn offered helpful suggestions and encouragement and was always ready to provide advice. During the actual sales process, we were confident that Shawn was making every effort to expose the property to its best advantage. He understood the strongest features of the property and always presented them enthusiastically. It was especially reassuring to have Shawn lead us through the process with careful, clear, objective explanations of the options. He was always there, day and night, to respond to questions, to follow up, and to ensure all the details were covered. Shawn handled the transactions quickly and efficiently, and it was comforting to know that he was taking care of our interests. Even in the face of last-minute complications, Shawn was always patient and diplomatic (and creative) in finding solutions. It was a pleasure working with and knowing Shawn Kelly. I only wish we had another house to sell (or buy) so we could continue to enjoy the association.

In August 2015 I returned from several years overseas and needed to find a home in the Washington area. After multiple experiences with agents who simply sent me web-links automatically (basically nothing more than I could do on my own), a relative recommended Shawn. Shawn proved outstanding for a number of reasons. First, he truly listened to my needs, and searched properties accordingly. Rather than senting web links, Sean sent tailored, well vetted listings. Second, he knows the area exceedingly well, he grew up here. Third, he consistently made himself available, in person, to meet and visit properties. And finally, he did what a real estate professional should do, he pointed out things about homes, neighborhoods, etc. that I did not see, and in so doing steered me clear of bad investment decisions.
