It has now been two days since we submitted a formal offer on one of Geralds listings. During this time, neither he nor anyone from his team made any effort to contact our agent with an update. We remained in limbo, waiting anxiously for any kind of response aEUR" only to eventually discover on our own that the property had gone pending. This complete lack of communication is unacceptable. The home-buying process is inherently stressful, and clear, timely communication is one of the most basic expectations between professionals in this industry. Gerald promotes himself as someone who values professionalism, respect, and being aEURoehumanaEUR? in his interactions aEUR" but our experience tells a very different story. From what weve seen, his actions suggest that profit takes precedence over basic professional courtesy. Thats his prerogative aEUR" this is a market-driven business aEUR" but that does not excuse ignoring other agents and leaving buyers without answers. We understand that offers fall through and decisions get made quickly. Thats part of the process. But whats not acceptable is the silence aEUR" the complete disregard for others time, effort, and emotional investment. A quick call, a text, or even a one-line email wouldve sufficed. Instead, we were left waiting without any acknowledgment, only to be blindsided when the listing status changed. We wish him and his team success moving forward. But for someone with his years of experience in this business, the way this was handled was extremely disappointing and frankly, unprofessional.
