I used Diane for both the buying and selling process for my home. When I purchased the home I was a first time buyer and was unfamiliar with the process. I think she did ok but we were blindsided by a requirement to buy flood insurance 2 days before closing. I was unaware of the cost of it. It added about $200 a month to my insurance. She didn't give me any indication that it would add so much to my mortgage. This has also made my home very difficult to sell.Most recently I used her to sell my home. I was forced to move out of state and let her handle the sales and let me know what was going on with the house. It sat on the market for 6 months with little contact from Diane. My wife and I would decide it was time to lower the price without any agent input. After the first 2 months I did speak to Diane as to why she never gives me any information on what is going on in the market, she realized she never set me up for her auto emails about the house. Every time I contacted her about lowering the price she would advise she was just about to call me. She apparently called on Fridays only and I just happened to call on Thursday every time.This also brings the last point where she isn't very good for calling back. I was taught in sales if someone calls you, a return call in 24 hours is proper. I would go days without hearing from Diane. When I was preparing for a vacation after a second showing I tried to call her to advise her I didn't wouldn't have access to a phone or scanner or printer in that time. I wanted to know what to do. I didn't get a call for 2 days and when I did speak with her she said she would just pull her sign and walk away as friends. She left me in a bind. It feels like this is a part time job to her that she doesn't need. I was underwhelmed with her services and would recommend staying away.
