My husband and I decided to buy a newly built home. We met Joy, Jeffs Office Manager, at a social gathering and talked with her about our plans. Joy suggested that we call Jeff to discuss our plans. We contacted Jeff & scheduled a meeting. Jeff was low key yet came prepared with questions and information. We were impressed that Jeff was more interested in what we wanted in a home as opposed to what was available and trying to make a specific house fit into our plans. Jeff was patient in responding to all of our questions about the process of buying a newly built home. Jeff was our advocate in matching a builder to our ideas. He was also instrumental in assisting with design - knowing what we wanted - and in site location and price negotiation. We knew our budget and using that Jeff was able to advise us on various options as well as locations that would meet our family needs (schools. shopping, community and even property/school taxes). Jeff showed us demographics of various neighborhoods which we found interesting and helpful in determining an area we wanted to live. In our opinion, while Jeffs professionalism and knowledge guided us, the constant communication we received from him & his team during the negotiation, building and ultimately closing process was just as valuable. By keeping us informed along the way, we didnt feel the anxiety of not knowing that we had been told others had experienced. We are now in our home and look back on the entire process positively because Jeff Scofield and his team cared about us. Thank you Jeff, Joy and all the other members of Jeffs team!
