My wife and I were originally going to list our home for sale by owner to save money, but before we did, we met with Travis Moelker for some expert advice. At our meeting, he went over all of the details involved in selling our home and answered all of our many questions. He didn't pressure us to list with him, but after the meeting were confident that he was the route we needed to go. We are so glad we made that decision! He was very knowledgable, professional, and friendly. He responded to our questions right away. With the amount of attention he gave to us, he made us feel like we were his only clients. He definitely helped take the stress out of moving! We sold our house a lot faster and for more money than we would have on our own. We enjoyed working with Travis. He really was a blessing in one of our young family's bigger life decisions, and we would definitely recommend him to yours!

My husband Luke and I started looking for a home in January 2015, bound and determined to land a house in the City of East Grand Rapids (in one of the most competitive price ranges during a very competitive buying period). We were first time home buyers, so the process was uncharted territory for us. Though we weren't sure what to expect, Travis continually exceeded our expectations with his knowledge of what to watch for in construction of a home and providing much needed guidance on how much to offer (based on market conditions, the list price of the house, and our comfort zone). Travis scheduled open houses expeditiously and completely on our schedule, which almost always landed in the evenings due to our work schedule. All of the things listed above are signs of a great realtor, but the thing that sets Travis apart is not his knowledge or talent for what he does (though it is exceptional). What sets Travis apart is the fact that he cares about his clients and we had full confidence that he was looking out for us during our search for a home. Not once did we feel like we were just a sale. Travis helped us work through what we liked or didn't like, and in more than one instance while we stood in a house unsure if we should make an offer (knowing how fast houses were flying off the market), Travis would take the pressure off and say "let's keep looking." He could have taken advantage of those moments and tried to sell us on the house, but instead he shared that in his experience working with clients he could tell when a house wasn't a natural fit. He showed us dozens of houses over several months and helped us put in several offers (one of which happened to land on Mother's Day, which he graciously expedited for us as usual, despite the fact that it was unexpected and undoubtedly changed his plans). We could go on and on- but the point is that Travis is excellent at what he does, he's friendly and helpful and he'll do whatever he can to help you. The amount of attention he gave us soaked up a lot of the stress we had while searching for a house in a very competitive market. Work with Travis- you won't be disappointed!
