I recently sold my home with this RE/MAX team, and although the property ultimately closed at the price I expected, the overall representation did not come close to justifying a full 3% commission on a $1.5M sale. Despite the size of the team, there was a consistent lack of direction and understanding of core real estate processes. I ended up managing nearly every step myselfaEUR"pricing logic, negotiation strategy, listing structure, and how to properly frame remodel valueaEUR"while the lead agent remained largely absent aside from recommending unnecessary price reductions. I also handled professional staging at roughly $4,000 per month, which materially improved the listing with no strategic input from the team. The contractual side was handled poorly as well. The BINSR was structured in a way that left avoidable vulnerabilities, which the buyer later exploited at a cost of roughly $4,000 to me. Even more concerning, the home was contractually sold as-is with no concessions, yet when the buyer attempted to push for aggressive, contract-violating concessions, the team appeared uncertain and hesitant to enforce the agreement. I had to repeatedly step in to protect my own position. Although the home sold for the correct price, the level of guidance, negotiation support, and contract competence was far below what a seller should expect.
