The first thing Marybeth did when we reached out to her to indicate our interest in purchasing a second home at the beach, was invite my husband and I to dinner to understand what we were looking for. We immediately recognized Marybeth is a great communicator and listener. Marybeth took the time to ask thoughtful questions about what is important to me and to my husband, even if we weren't always fully aligned. She helped us prioritize what we wanted into needs, wants, and wishes, which we later realized helped her ensure she only sent us meaningful listings. Since we were an hour drive from the location we wanted to purchase, Marybeth was careful to only send listings that may be a good fit. She also checked out every single listing before she asked to see it in person. She aways toured the home in advance, taking video and giving us detailed descriptions of the good, bad and the ugly. With both my husband and I working full time and having a busy family schedule, we were grateful for the time and effort Marybeth put in prior to asking us to view a listing in person. And then...she found THE house. She caught us during a challenging week, and gently reiterated this home could "be the one" and to make the time to see it. We did and knew instantly it was the right home for us. From there, we were impressed with Marybeth's negotiation skills, her organization, follow up, willingness to help with anything needed including referrals for real estate attorney, inspector, termite inspector, even marital advice at times! Anytime we hit a roadblock, Marybeth was there to navigate us through it with an optimistic point of view and smile on her face. We closed on our new home on time and with everything we could have wished for gaining a new friend in Marybeth along the way. We are forever grateful to Marybeth for creating such a positive experience for us so we can enjoy our new home with no regrets and starting off on a happy and positive note.
