I had some very bad experiences with a broker who believed a lock box was all you needed plus marketing to sell a house. I was with him for some time and it was not working. He almost immediately asked me to lower my price and later told me that my final sales price was what the asking price should be. The house was really one of a kind and defied "comps" but that is all he worked off of and marketing. After some wrangling and a meeting with Ellen I was convinced I had to get out of the contract and list with Ellen. She had impeccable knowledge of the market, she saw the value of a local real estate agent who could be present at showings and truly sell the benefits of the home. Within a couple of weeks I had a cash buyer and a sale at the price the former agent suggested I list at. Ellen was always responsive, polite, stepped back and let the issues between me and the other broker play out, so therefore very professional as well. She has a superb knowledge of the market and expertise in selling and I would highly recommend her to anyone that is looking to sell there house at a fair market value and quickly.
