Working with Ellen has been a great experience. Ellen helped my family and I purchase our first home without having any idea on the process. Ellen made the process very easy and was always available for any information or questions I had. When my family and I were ready to sell our home I reached out to Ellen once again not knowing that process and again Ellen helped us with everything every step of the way. Ellen was more helpful than I could have imagined! We were living on Long Island, NY and were looking for a retirement home in NE Pennsylvania about 3 hours away. We explained to her that we were merely at the exploratory stage and not ready to make any move for the near future. Ellen arranged some showings for us to get a sense of the gated community we were interested in, even though she was well aware there was no chance of a purchase. She devoted an entire afternoon to us, showed us a number of homes in all price ranges so we could understand the market, listened to our preferences as to what we liked and what we considered essential vs. negotiable. We stayed in touch via phone, text, and email for the better part of a year, and when we were finally ready to pull the trigger she again devoted a full day to us and our search. She did not pressure is to buy above our budget, she offered her own opinions when we asked (and we did!) and helped us consider the pros and cons of each home we saw. Ultimately she showed us the home we are in now, and she counseled us regarding what we should offer and why. We had an accepted offer the very next day. After living here nearly 2 years, we still consider Ellen more than a realtor; she is a friend.

Ellen was responsive, honest, and always available to answer questions. She understood our needs and wants. She made our buying process smooth and stress-free.
