Just closed today. Can't say enough good things about Amanda. We met her when she showed us a house. We ended up wanting that house built but it was a slow and uphill process that finally ended up with it being called off. Within a few hours, Amanda found a couple of possible sites and suggested Midwest Design Homes as a builder. To show us the quality of his work in relation to what we were going to do, she offered to show us a house that MDH built as a spec home on the upcoming Saturday. Earlier that morning, before we were to meet up with her, we looked at a couple of other homes and thought we would make a serious bid on them. We weren't really impressed with what we saw in the pictures and thought that the higher price wasn't worth what we would get. Honestly, pictures didn't do the house any justice. Once we got there and Amanda got to showing it, we were really impressed. The design was way better and it had the stuff we were planning on upgrading in the house to be built. We figured that even if we did have the spec home done with our minor modifications, we would be coming close to this house in price and it still wouldn't be as intelligently designed as the MDH home. It was worth the $80K upgrade. We wrote the offer that day and still don't understand how she found the house that worked better than what we could have built so quickly. Once the offer was submitted she got things going by keeping us in the loop by informing us of everything that occurs ASAP. That was MUCH APPRECIATED. She would make sure we were doing our part to keep the process going. Today, was so smooth, it didn't even feel like we were closing on a home. We got there for a final inspection, after which the MDH crew (John and Curtis) was very efficient in showing us the features of the house and explaining things and even answering other questions not too related. One final prod to wrap things up and we were on the way to the title company. A few signatures and we were the proud owners of a new home. MDH was really considerate and professional during the process. Thoughtful gifts like a document bag for our home papers and a box of basic stuff in a tool box for minor handyman needs. If we were to get another home in the Fox Valley area again, we know who to call on. When we get moved up to the new house, conventional wisdom and our good friends and neighbor suggested we get their realtor to sell it since he is local and has been known to them for a long time. Amanda has been excellent as an agent for us and we have full confidence that she can do yet another excellent job for us and plan to have her sell our current home.

Where do I even begin...Amanda is truly a gem. We connected with Amanda after having a really poor experience with another realtor in town. We were relocating from Indiana and she made it so easy to do virtual tours & get us info being so far away. As a first time homebuyer, I spent almost a year trying to find my first home purchase. On my own, I didn't have any luck getting to tour houses in time, much less making offers. And then I met Amanda. The first time I met with her, she spent almost an hour explaining to me the market and what steps I would need to take in order to be successful in my first home purchase. She gave me excellent instructions on what I should do to set myself up for quick action when I found the right house for me. We spent a few weeks touring houses where she helped me focus in on what mattered to me most. She had incredible patience and never pressured me to make an offer on a house I wasn't certain about. Within 5-6 weeks, we found the house I'd been dreaming of within my budget. Amanda gave me perfect advice on how to make the best offer possible and get in contract. Though my first home purchase was complicated with a guardian and court scenario, Amanda helped me every step of the way and made it easy for me. Even after the sale she's checked in to make sure I was happy with my new home. I highly recommend Amanda as a buyer or seller agent and hope to work with her again in my future.
