We started our home search in February, knowing basically nothing as first-time buyers. We decided we weren't quite ready to move to the suburbs and wanted to stay in the city, but weren't sure if that was possible for us. I loved the apartment we were at and the location, so I was nervous that even if we could find a home in the area we wanted to be in, it would be a downgrade from our current space - or that we'd have to move to an area we didn't want to be in to find a nice home. With Tammy's help we were able to find a home we love in the area we dreamed of being in! Through the whole process, we felt confident in Tammy's expertise and honesty. She never tried to oversell us; she wanted us to find the best deal for us. Some homes we toured, Tammy straight up told us she wouldn't recommend buying and she would point out red flags she saw - cracks that indicated larger foundational issues, pipe concerns, etc. The home we bought, Tammy scheduled us a tour first day on the market, about 2 hours before they had an open house, so we were able to put in the first offer. Her negotiation on our behalf made all the difference. We really felt like we could trust that Tammy had our backs the whole time, and she delivered. I worked with Tammy Davison as the listing agent on our home sale, we were first time home sellers (NW Hills). It was on the market for 5 weeks when we got our offer, in late fall/early winter 2025. It was a difficult market, and a difficult sale, as the home had odd contingencies and acted as a condo/HOA even though we owned the land and had no HOA. She expertly negotiated with multiple buyers agents and the owner of our neighboring house (we were essentially a duplex but didn't act that way). What worked - I did everything Tammy advised. If she tells you to change something/paint something/fix something/remove furniture - DO IT. She knows what she's talking about. After the first walk through she pulled specs and provided a range of selling prices, which was based upon how much work I wanted to do to prepare for the sale. I ended up doing everything and we listed at the top of her range. The work involved was thankfully not too much. We worked with a stager, removed furniture, patched walls and paint, brought in a bunch of mulch and cleaned up the landscaping, removed screens and got the windows and exterior of the home washed. Communication - She does the work to get the home listed, and then will have her assistants send weekly reports and feedback from showings. Tammy was always available for questions and calls. Tammy really helped me with my fears and anxieties and advised me to hold off on dropping the price. 5 weeks from listing we had our first offer, which ended up being the home buyer. We ended up selling for only $5k under asking, which felt like a miracle during that time, and I was thrilled. Tammy will go to bat for her clients. Trust the process, and work with Tammy!
