I was debating posting this review, but I am speaking from my experience which in one word I would describe as just plain awful. I would not recommend Adolfo to anyone who is looking to sell their home. My husband and I contracted him initially to represent us as both a listing and buying agent, but the selling experience was so stressful and confusing that I was the one who had to encourage my husband to explore other agents for the buying portion. Although my husband was a primary contact in this process, fom the beginning, I felt that when and if I was brought into the conversation, my opinion and input in the process was often overlooked and dismissed, which was crushing because it felt one sided-and adolfo did nothing spectacular to smooth out the process or help BOTH of us understand what was going on.I believe it takes a skilled communicator and professional agent to know how to skillfully balance input from their clients and still advocate for our needs, especially in such an emotionally charged process that is selling and buying a home. But Adolfo was so focused on just making a sale that he convinced us (aka my husband) that the first offer was the best offer, and later on in the escrow process, I was ready to pull the plug due to what I saw as unfair buyers demands, Adolfo was too focused on making sure the deal went through and graciously offered a portion of his already higher than average commission to avoid that from happening. In sum, I could go on and on about other things I didn't appreciate (like the poor communication (but only towards me, he was always responsive to my husband); or the sloppy attention to details, or the fact that my husband was the one who was looking up homes and setting up a schedule to view the homes, and adolfo was nowhere to be seen. I'm glad he sold our home but he left a lot to be desired. Adolfo provided great services in selling my Downey home, would recommend again and again. Very knowledgeable and supportive in this home selling experience for myself and wife. I got to know Adolfo very well and came to realize he is genuinely a good person first before a good agent.

We just recently used Adolfo Aguirre to sell our 117 year old home in Pasadena. We interviewed a number of realtors but went with Adolfo for a couple of reasons. 1. He was very comfortable to talk to. Not pushy, no over sell 2. It was over six months from the time we spoke to the time we listed our home. Aldolfo was professionally persistent (which I appreciate) in staying in touch with us by email or text every few months. Never pushy, always professional. What was interesting in our situation is that we received an offer two days after the For Sale sign was installed. My first thought was aEURoeGeez, what am I paying him foraEUR?? However, that was short sighted of me. Adolfo was able to negotiate a price higher than our listed offer price. In addition, as with any old home, various issues came up that could have been a concern. In each instance, Adolfo provided excellent advice and was able to negotiate and mitigate all concerns that arose. In hindsight, Adolfo definitely earned his commission. Thank you, Adolfo.

Adolfo did an amazingly professional job from start to finish. He went above and beyond, used modern and prompt communication means. Provided resources and in many instances treated our home tasks as if they were his own. He got us resonable quotes on items that would help us sell our house, and gave us solid reason and working justification to convince they buyer to be reasonable with us. When one buyer backed out, he got right back to get us many additional offers. All around excellent experience.

Adolfo represented both the buyer (me) and the seller, and throughout the process, he was incredibly fair, organized, and communicative. He kept me updated every step of the way, ensuring I was well-informed and comfortable with the decisions being made.
