REAL Broker

Our home buying process with Bern and his team was so easy and low stress. Bern was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, always available and quick to answer texts and phone calls. He helped us understand local neighborhoods and home values, and his insights gave us confidence in our decision making around a big cross country move. His negotiation skills helped make the most of our budget! He and the team are detail oriented, accommodating, and very pleasant to work with. We recommend him highly.

We first saw Bern and Courtney's YouTube videos when we were living in Pennsylvania (but we're thinking of moving to the San Diego area). We moved here four years ago and when we were ready to look for a house, we contacted Bern. Having owed houses in Pennsylvania, we weren't new to realtors and looking for a house. We liked Bern because he was never pushy, always very knowledgeable, worked around our unpredictable work schedules, and was flexible as we changed some of our priorities. We purchased our house 2 years ago (sorry it took me so long to do the review Bern!). We love the house, just renovated the backyard, and love the quiet neighborhood. It's just like the one we lived in, in Pennsylvania (except a lot warmer!). We've used his contractor list and have always been happy with the work and service by those on his list. Bern even responds with answers to random questions I send him now, 2 years later. Thanks so much Bern!

Fantastic realtor! My husband and I found out about Bern while watching his Youtube videos which were really helpful especially if you are looking for a house in a city that you havent lived before. Once we met in person, he was very friendly, helpful, proactive and answered every question we had, he replied texts and emails promptly all the time and arranged everything according to our needs. We highly recommend him as your first-time homebuyer realtor because he is very knowledgeable about areas in San Diego, makes the process very easy and he is great with negotiations.

Bern has been absolutely amazing to work with - super responsive, knowledgeable, and always clear in his communication. More importantly, he has been *incredibly* patient and supportive throughout this long journey (which still isn't over - sorry Bern!). Highly professional and a genuinely great agent - very highly recommended!

BERN McGovern helped us with our new home purchase in Oceanside. His calm, intelligent manner brought the positive energy we needed to complete the purchase. Excellent communicator, tireless problem-solver, and all-around, 'Can Do' attitude made the whole process wonderful. Thank YOU, Bern!
