At the same time, he's personable, he's a great advisor and brought great experience and practical insight to the process to benefit us as we searched for the right lake property for our family. Mike and Holly Tobeck are excellent realtors. More importantly, they're outstanding, honest, straight-forward people, that I am priveleged to call friends. I will tell you why . . . I had lived in California for approximately 5 years, but quite frankly, the State had changed for the worse since I left in 1997 (i.e., I was living in Colorado for 23 years). After my mom passed away in 2023, I immediately began researching an out of State home purchase, concentrating on a return to Colorado, as well as Oregon, Nevada, and Washington. Most weekends, I would spend at least a few hours scouring the real estate ads in these states. Eventually, I focused my search on Northeast WA, where I finally found a home I was interested in. On January 17th, 2025, I signed a real estate Buyer Brokerage Services Agreement with Mike and Holly Tobeck. Although I ended up passing on this home, I was unequivocally convinced that this area (Nine Mile Falls) was the area I wanted to live in. Much of my decision was due in part to Mike and Holly. They were very detailed in providing me information about this area; including Spokane, which was located nearby; taxes; schools (I have a 7 year old daughter); hospitals; shopping; etc. Eventually, I did find my "dream home." I did all of this 2 States away and guess what? I was completely at ease doing this because of Mike and Holly. During the video home inspection, Mike, Holly, and the home inspector pointed out aspects of the build, which were of very outstanding quality. In their estimation, the home I was buying was thousands of dollars discounted, as building the same home today would likely cost at least $50 to 75K more to construct using the same materials. I suspected as much initially when I found this home online. In any event, the entire process went smooth as silk. Conversely, I was more concerned about selling my CA home (and much of that turned out to be the true, albeit, in the long run, my existing home sold and closed only 3 or 4 days after closing my WA home). In conclusion, Mike and Holly were involved in all aspects of the buy process. Mike also assisted me in finding home insurance. Fast forward to the day we arrived at our home, Mike and Holly were there to greet my daughter and I. I can't express in words how important this was to my daughter and I. We traveled 2 days across 2 States, not knowing anyone in WA State, much less the community of Nine Mile Falls. Similarly, the unpacking process was arduous, except for Mike and Holly assisting us every step of the way, including providing helpers to assist us in unpacking, one of whom was a relative to Holly. This also extended to shopping online for furniture; setting up utilities; e.g., Holly (particularly) and Mike were a sounding board on furniture I considered buying. Likewise, directions and advise on stores; getting my State driver's license; setting up utilities; etc., etc., both were their for my daughter and I. I will end this review by saying I am extremely grateful to Mike and Holly . . . Without their assistance, our "journey" to buying a new home would have been much more difficult. Mike did a great job finding us a lake property before it even hit the market. He knows the area and more importantly the people. Communication was excellent. We were never left wondering what was going on.

From our first encounter with Mike, we felt as though we just ran into an old friend. It seemed that nothing through our journey of selling our home in Lake Stevens and looking for property in Eastern WA/ Northern ID went as we thought it would in our minds.
