Please, please do not trust this person if you dont want your life to get ruined like mine. I trusted this agent with one of the biggest decisions of my life, buying my home, and I regret it every single day. I was never properly informed about the MUD taxes, and my agent rushed me through the closing without explaining anything important. I ended up with thousands of dollars in unexpected tax bills and even faced a lawsuit because of it. This has caused me so much financial stress, and I'm still dealing with the consequences. We chose this agent because we trusted her to guide us through one of the biggest financial decisions of our lives and make sure we understood all the important details before buying our home. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. The entire process felt rushed. We found and chose our house within only two days. The home was located in an area with MUD taxes, but she never explained this important additional tax to us before we decided to purchase the property. If we had known about these additional costs from the beginning, we may have chosen a completely different area and never purchased this home. Before closing, I specifically asked her if there was anything important we needed to know before signing, and we still were not informed about this issue. After closing, we barely heard from her again. About a year and a half later, law enforcement came to our home regarding unpaid MUD taxes. We were completely shocked because we had no idea we had this obligation. That situation ended up costing us around $7,000. We thought the matter was finally behind us, but recently we received another letter saying we now have to pay $1,033 in additional attorney fees related to the same issue. What makes this even more frustrating is that when we brought everything to her attention and explained what this situation had cost us, we did not feel that she took our concerns seriously or showed any real concern about what we had gone through. Buying a home is a huge financial decision, and we trusted our agent to make sure important costs like this were clearly explained before we committed to a property. Based on our personal experience, I would not trust this agent with such an important decision again. Please do your own research and verify every tax, fee, and financial obligation before purchasing a home.
