A few years ago, David helped us find our dream home. He educated us, encouraged us to make offers we didn't expect to go through, and we got our first house! This year, after covid upended the world and we decided to move closer to family, we didn't have to search for an agent - we knew we'd go with David because he is the best. On the listing side, David guided us through the process and was very patient with our fears and hesitations. He has empathy for the stress and concerns and takes every chance to educate and calm us. David set us up with a local team of stagers, cleaners, carpet repair, handymen, and gardeners. We discussed our budget up front and he came in way under despite a few curveballs (our water heater broke midway) We just closed with double the profit we expected! We were deer in the headlights when we started thinking about purchasing our first home, overwhelmed by all we didn't know and the cost of buying a place in the Bay Area. Luckily, the person we met at our first open house was David Oliphant. We could not imagine anyone who was more gentle and informative, encouraging and patient. He was very through in reviewing the process with us and showed us a variety of places on the Peninsula from Daly City to La Honda and Redwood City to Half Moon Bay. Along our journey we did bump into other Real Estate Agents, but were never even tempted to work with anyone else.
