I am a US veteran who was overseas at the time, working in England. Claudette from the moment I reached out was lightening responsive. As I was outside of the country, she had no problem scheduling virtual walk-throughs for me and handling all voice communications via an application that allowed for voice notes, audio, and video calls. She helped me to compare the VA loan option to a conventional loan that I ended up going with. If she realized the Bank was taking long to respond to me about something, she would be on top of that. Often it was her checking in to make sure they were responding to me and moving the ball forward if they weren't. Any time it came to making an offer, she was on the ball. Paperwork would be prepared the same day and after I reviewed it, if a term needed to be added or edited, the turn around time would be that same afternoon or evening. As I was looking for something that I could purchase at a lower price and then put some work into, she helped steer me away from risky versions of that by letting me know what questions I should be asking. In the end, I purchased a two-bedroom condo that needed some work but was in a safe neighborhood and accommodated owners being able to rent out the unit later if they needed to. For anyone who is needing to do the majority of the process remotely because you are moving here from out of state, etc., I highly recommend Claudette. On virtual walk-throughs she was so helpful, gracious, and honest, for example, letting me know if you could hear traffic passing by (something I wanted to stay away from).
