We originally met them at an open house, and when we were ready to sell, they happened to be actively checking in with us, which made the timing work out perfectly. From the beginning, they were very professional, passionate, and hands-on. They recommended a remodeling team that was able to get the work done in about a week, which was incredibly helpful. They also provided staging at no additional cost. Before listing, they organized a pre-listing open house to introduce the home to neighbors and generate early interest, and continued to hold open houses every week while the property was on the market. One of the things we appreciated most was how responsive they were. Since Shela and Guian work as a team, we essentially had two people available to answer questions and help us whenever something came up. They were always quick to respond and kept us informed throughout the process. We did face some challenges with a lower comparable sale in the neighborhood, but they helped us navigate the market and negotiate effectively, including helping us with the counteroffer. In the end, we were very happy with the final sale price and the overall outcome. The closing process was also very smooth. Overall, selling a home can be stressful, but Shela and Guian made the experience much easier and more straightforward than we expected. Shela and Guian came from a recommendation from our neighbor. They explained that they had worked with this neighbor and their family members several times already, impressing us. Immediately, we hit it off - they understood that we were in a tough spot and even brought my dad a box of coconuts as a greeting gift! Shela was our main point of contact, and she was never pushy nor did she express frustration even when we were confused on what to do on our end. She answered our questions as best and as quickly as she could, always with the warmest smile. We are both eldest daughters and primary caretakers, so I truly felt seen during this entire process. She brought me a drink and snack to my workplace (even when I told her not to) during the handing off of the old house keys. This is the kind of person, not just agent, that she is. If you are in a similar life position, she will take care of you! My dad finally has a beautiful home in an area he was eyeing. I have gained a new friend. My family and I couldn't have done it without Shela and Guian, who work so well together. If I am ever in a place where I can buy a home myself, I would want to work with Shela again.
