Buying a home is supposed to be a fresh start, but our experience with Donna Jones Craig and Lisa Inman at Move Smart Realty turned into a nightmare. We asked direct, honest questions about the condition of the home before closingaEUR"simple things any buyer deserves to know, like whether the basement was usable and if the washer hookup was functional. Those questions were ignored or brushed aside. After moving in, we discovered the truth: the basement was completely unusable, the plumbing system was failing, and the washer couldnt even be connected properly because the plumbing wasnt there to support it. We were forced to spend over $20,000 just to make our home livableaEUR"money we never planned on spending, money that took away our sense of security and stability in what should have been a happy chapter of life. Even worse, we later learned there were previous problems and work done that were never disclosed to us, despite their legal and ethical duty to do so. When we asked for help, instead of accountability or care, they responded with legal threats to silence us. Imagine putting everything you have into buying a home, only to realize the people who were supposed to guide you knew more than they told you and then threatened you for speaking up.
