I am writing this review as a form of catharsis aEUR" a purging of my former caustic energy. Spoiler Alert aEUR" we loved working with Elizabeth and would recommend her to anyone, especially those who find themselves in need of a good therapist to help them through their real estate buying or selling experience. Prior to buying a home in Asheville, I was a lifelong Californian and specifically a Bay Area native. I have watched market forces drive the price of homes to the stratosphere and beyond, where multiple, escalating bids, all over the asking price was the norm, not the exception, and this the moment a home become available. Most buyers found these overpriced houses themselves on the internet. Further, California transactions are simple, straightforward. And real estate brokers aEUR| well aEUR| they laughed all the way to 5% of millions for doing little to no work and often exhibiting a manifest conflict of interest. So, with this background, we retained Elizabeth to help us relocate to Asheville.While I'm still a bit dubious of the profession generally, I now know that some real estate agents are not only fantastic, but earn their commission and then some. Elizabeth was knowledgeable. She did her homework, not only on the neighborhood, but the specific house, including particular details of its construction, furnishings, etc. Most importantly, she listened to what we wanted, found it, and then advocated for us. She showed patience, compassion, and was fun. We were lucky to find such a dedicated and diligent profession to secure us a fair deal and help us through our own psychological vicissitudes.-Grant
