Michele and I met through a local volleyball program almost a year before she helped us by our first house! Upon meeting her you could tell that she was kind and compassionate - just the type of person you would want to have in your circle. My husband and I had been renting for years - we were ready for the next step, but very intimidated by the process. I recalled Michele mentioning through one of our conversations that she was a realtor and ended up calling her. Understanding the housing market, supply and demand, and giving someone your personal financial information is all very daunting; however, I knew already from just talking to her a few times that she was genuine, it is just who she is - she was the BEST FIT! We looked all over the county for maybe 4-5 months visting house after house, digressing interests and discussing a variety of properties. If I was not able to get to a property, she would go and give me feedback. Her communication was far beyond the means of perfection as well as being clear and concise. She never pushed us to enter into contract or failed to get us to the bargaining table. Sometimes in the real estate business you get the vibe that the people trying to help you are money hungry or do not have time, Michele never once made us feel menial or not important as others. After what felt like an eternity and a truck load of patience, the perfect property came to market and she helped us jump on it! She talked us through the entire process and gave us the best advice that led to us winning the bid war without going over budget. She also helped negotiate to get us to our happy place with a tiny bit of money left over for small projects that needed to be done! I can say as a first time homebuyer, if you are nervous or feel undereducated about the process and are looking for someone that is genuine, patient, and caring - Michele is the one for you!
