We called Adam based on a word-of-mouth recommendation because we wanted to see a particular home in a "hot" location, and he got us in to see it that evening, after his normal working hours. We put a bid in later that night. We didn't get that particular home, but it cemented our working relationship. We asked him to be our Realtor and help us navigate the market based on our wish list. He researched and found great options for us.Fast forward several listings and one home showing later -- we got the second house we bid on, thanks to his advice on how to put in our offer.He became the calm eye in the middle of our home-buying storm! His knowledge, his organization, and his level-headedness kept everyone on task and kept the home-buying process moving forward. When we were filling out the offer, he explained every part of it and how best to entice the seller in this crazy market. As soon as the offer was accepted he gave us a checklist and a timetable to follow -- and he helped us keep on top of our tasks. If we had any questions at all, he was always available to answer in his calm, clear manner.When an appraisal looked like it wouldn't happen in time (and thus negate the contract) he prodded the credit union until they found a way to make it happen. When we needed a home inspection and there were no inspectors to be found, he helped us locate one. If any part of the contract looked like it might collapse, he was there to help us shore it up.Yesterday we closed on our new home. I don't believe in "dream homes" but this one checks off 90% of the items on our wish list. Adam got us here. And now, we're asking him to help us sell our "old" home. I'm actually looking forward to the process. ??
