Never use this realtor or this agency. We went to La Puerta realty to find an agent to show us homes in Placitas. Jenisse took us to a home in the process of being built. We said we would like to buy the home but change some things to make it more our own. She and the builder were in agreement to this. The agreement was $25,000 down and the remainder at closing. After Making numerous trips to Placitas and having a final meeting with her and the builder they sent us off to the cabinet granite and appliance stores to pick what we wanted. All was good. We met at a different La Puerta office which was strange. After we returned to Tucson we received an email stating we would have to put down $60,00 and not the agreed upon 25,000. She also wanted an extra $5000 for the builder. We also found out she was the owner of the property which we never knew until she sent the purchase agreement with her name as the seller. She was never working in our best interest but only her own. She never disclosed until the end. She had us meet at LaPuerta Realty when she was really making a sale for herself and Caliente Properties. We contacted Annette the broker and owner of LaPuerta Realty to report the conflict of interest and unethical behavior of Jennise. We had a house ripped out from under us with NO warning after spending a long time planning it. We have tried negotiating with them but they just lie. It was a horrible journey to nowhere that I hope never happens to anyone else. Jennise will not work in your best interest. It is all about her.LaPuerta takes no responsibility. Legally they are responsible for their agents unethical behaviors. A no win situation with these people. Stay away.
