If I could give her a zero I would. Maria was the selling agent for a home in Knox. Our agent submitted an offer and a prof of funds from our lender. Maria contacted our agent and verbally agreed to the purchase price. She stated her client was out of town and would sign the next day. We celebrated as any new buyer would. Then later that night Marie sent our agent a text that there was another offer and we needed to submit our best and final offer. In the state of Indiana verbal agreements do not hold up in court; however, what bad business by an agent. We submitted a higher offer as we already thought that the home would be ours, and she had us wait until 8 pm the next day. No news until after 8:30 pm to inform our family that the seller went with the other offer. If you are buying a home with Marie or your agent is working for you against Marie, please make sure you get a Docusign immediately. What a disappointment. Dont trust Marie Caston!

This sale was quick and easy. I was kept informed on all proceedings and meetings. Closing was rather long with ever more documents being required. I just finished another closing with only 2 documents to sign.
