It was obvious that Gene didn't care about selling our property. We had to push him at every turn to schedule open houses. We are motivated sellers and he didn't want to lower the price (less commission?) regardless of what the condo market was doing. He showed up at open houses at the last minute possible or a few minutes late. At one open house he had his wife, who is not an agent, show the condo for an hour and half before he showed up. She knew nothing of our property. One open house he showed up dressed for a beach party. Very unprofessional. Several days before our contract was over we had an open house. Without telling us, his daughter showed up in his place. I asked her if she was a realtor and her answer was "no, I'm thinking about it so dad let me do this open house to see if I want to". Really?! She knew nothing about our property and is this even ethical? We always had to ask for any feedback, it was never offered. Gene was good at selling himself but he sure failed us as our realtor.
