If there is any thing to say about Marcus, it's that he's a fantastic listener. Trust me, you want nothing more than someone who actually listens to what your needs are when it comes to buying a house. If your agent listens to you, everything else falls into place as it should.Interestingly enough, Marcus didn't help us buy a home like we initially set out to do. To no fault of his own, we decided we needed to rent something after all, since we needed to be moved into a place within 30 days. Even though we weren't going to proceed with him as our realtor, he still found a way to be a great help to us. He truly listened to what our most important need was and that was to have a place to live in sooner than later, and to be able to take our animals with us. Marcus being the great listener that he is, found out that another client of his just recently closed on their home and were going to move out of their rental property within a couple weeks. He knew this couple really cared for their landlord as she was elderly, but an extremely great landlord. They didn't want her to have to deal with putting the house up for rent and told Marcus about this. Quick to action, Marcus reached back out to us and said he found a potential place for us to rent. We were elated!He set up the initial contact with this landlord for us, and got us in contact with his clients at the property so we could even go by and check the place out! To us, it was clear that even though we meant to do another form of business with him, he actually cared about our needs, and that he was listening all along. This was true for his other clients as well, heck, even our now lovely landlord! He managed to turn the situation into a positive one for all parties mentioned and, for that, I can't recommend him enough. So if you're in the market for an agent that will care about your needs, and go above and beyond, Marcus Rodriguez is the man of your calling.
