My wife and I decided to start looking for a house in mid to late February of this year (2025), and as of two days ago (April 3rd, 2025) we closed on a house!!! And this was in most part due to Shelee Brim. Shelee was consistently attentive at each step of the process, making sure that we were aware of what was going to happen currently and what to expect with next steps. She set up a house search portal that allowed us to see houses that were for sale and were about to go on the market that fit the criteria that we specifically wanted, which was a huge reason we landed such a great house in such a short time. Were moving from KCK to Prairie Village!! We never thought wed be living there, but thanks to Shelees help and tools, we saw this gem before it was going to hit the market, so once it opened, Shelee got us in there ASAP. We saw another house that same day, and another thing we are so grateful for is Shelees honesty when viewing a home: she will notice if something looks wrong or could be a potential pitfall in the future, like a shoddy foundation, insulation issues, etc. The first home we saw, she pointed out everything that was a concern so we had all the facts if we had decided to pursue it regardless. But once we saw our soon-to-be home, we met with her immediately after the showing and put in an offer. The next day, it was accepted! Throughout the 30 day closing process, Shelee has been at our side, checking in to see that everything is going smoothly, and advocating for us when things popped up during inspection, so we could move into our home without potential issues looming. It was honestly bittersweet on closing day, as it had been such a comfort to have her in our corner during the whole process, and now well have to take on the responsibility of homeownership ourselves (which we are excited for!). But even then, Shelee let us know that we can reach out to her ANY time if wed like vendor recommendations for home improvement or if we wanted some assistance, as shes got connections locally, nationally, and internationally! It was such a pleasure working with Shelee, she made what we had anticipated would be a daunting home search process into something efficient and that we could do with confidence with her help. Youd be doing yourself a disservice if you dont go with Shelee if youre looking for a house or other real estate venture, shell advocate for you through and through.
