My husband and I came out from California on an initial vacation/retirement house hunting trip. We were lucky enough to meet with Beth Drake and her assistant. I found her from Zillow reviews. I called her with short notice, Beth took the time to listen to what we were looking for over the phone. When we arrived at her office she had a booklet put together with information about HH Island, it's communities and MLS pages of the homes to see that day. She went over the map of the island because we were not that familiar with the communities. The next morning she picked us up at our hotel and spent another full day with a new packet of homes to view. We spent all day Saturday, Sunday and Monday Morning before we headed to the airport. Beth helped us negotiate our offer, along with many tasks that can be difficult to complete from 3,000 miles away. During the negotiations Beth offered guidance on where to push for what we wanted and where to compromise. She even met with the sellers at their request to explain and further negotiate on our behalf. She was able to get us a great price! Beth was not only a pleasure to work with but went above and beyond. She truly cares about her clients needs and wishes, to get them in the prefect home for them. We trusted her completely and she never let us down. We have kept in contact and I still call to ask for different references. She has many great contacts and ideas (she is also trained as an interior designer) that make purchasing a fixer from a distance more manageable. Highly Recommend!
