Tom was my agent when I moved from South Carolina. He told me if I didnt bid high I would probably not get the home. He suggested $510,000 on a home that was listed for $469,000. Not knowing the area I agreed and found out later from realtors and neighbors this was not necessary. In fact my home has been valued one year later at $3000 less than what I paid. Hence, I have no appreciation in spite of the fact I have probably put $60,000 in upgrades. I try to put it behind me but I am still upset that his greed has cost me. I would never use his services again, and I hope anyone reading this will remember the slogan, Buyer beware.
