Marie is absolutely exceptional! She made possible the purchase of our first home in Portland. There wasnt much inventory in our price range and it was really hard to find something we actually liked in the area we wanted to be in. Thanks to Marie, we ended up getting the best house, which was our most favorite one of all the ones we looked at!We quickly felt very comfortable around her and found it easy to just be ourselves. While we were house hunting, she sensed that we knew what we wanted and let us look around and do our thing, but always managed to point out some helpful detail that we had not thought about that we should consider. We are a one-car couple, which sometimes made meetings difficult, but Marie came to the rescue giving me a ride on several occasions even though it was out of her way and during the busy spring real estate season. Her tenacity was utterly essential when it came to repair negotiations. She vigilantly argued our case and got everything we wanted taken care of by the sellers. She also scheduled and stayed on top of all of the repair work, including a very troublesome roof repair that went right up to the deadline. She even went above and beyond, researching Oregon landlord/tenant law to find a solution to get us out of our rental that saved us a lot of money.As an over-achiever and perfectionist, I rarely ever feel satisfied with any service experience, but Marie exceeded my expectations, managing the process with exactly the kind of attention to detail and organization that I admire. She thoroughly impressed me! She is professional, knowledgeable, ethical and just genuinely pleasant to be around. We feel that not only have we found our forever agent that we will always use, but also a friend. Buying a house is inherently stressful; you need an experienced ally like Marie by your side!

Marie is an outstanding real estate agent. She is professional, honest, detail-oriented, extremely prompt in all communication, supportive, positive and just generally a pleasure to be around. She deftly handled initial negotiations in the middle of the holidays, was diligent with repair issues, walked me through every aspect of the paperwork and ultimately even pointed out a minor detail close to closing which could have given me an option to back out. She kept me well-informed throughout the process. She was trying out an online timeline tool for the first time which was great as a reference for upcoming deadlines. She sought feedback on the tool which gave me the impression she is also always looking for ways to improve her service to her clients.I always felt Marie had my best interests at heart. In the past, I had worked with agents who I felt were more motivated by making the deal regardless of my interests. Marie was a breath of fresh air by comparison.I cannot recommend Marie highly enough. I felt fortunate to have her by my side throughout the entire process of buying my home. Thanks, Marie!
