We felt very lucky for Ranju to represent us as an agent for both buying and selling our property. As most people are aware how hard it is to buy a property in the peninsula in the bay Area, Ranju went out of her way to find us the best deal for a single-famlily home in the top-notch Emerald hill area. With a baby on the way and a highly-competitive market, we didn't have enough time to check out a lot of houses nor did we have a lot of time to make multiple bids. She worked really hard on getting us the 1st house we liked that had over 20 offers. She went out of her way to get us the best deal and we couldn't be more happy. In the selling process of our property, she gave us helpful advice on necessary home improvements in the property, did a great job at marketing and staging the apartment. Our home was sold for over 200K asking price in a week with an all cash offer. Ranju is very professional and responsive and I highly recommend her!

I must say, I am quite surprised how she has such high ratings, the services other people mentioned were never offered to us. She took advantage of personal acquaintance, lied to us about the process and her knowledge, was extremely pushy on sales, had no regard for our preferences, and called us nit-picky for digging into to the details.Most of the research of the houses was done by us, both on Zillow and open house visits (she usually didn't come along). All she did was to setup an auto-filter and send us loads of listings every week. We wanted to understand the possibilities and balance several options and choose the one that matched our preferences, but every time we showed some interest she would quickly say that that was the best house, and would push us to make an offer. When we would try to discuss the options, she would say that we were taking too much of her time and she had to cater to hundreds of other clients. Even with the property we eventually bought, she did not recommend or let us do property inspections, but instead said we were "nit-picking". As an example it turned out there was a blockage in the shower pipe, and it started leaking into the sub-floor, which we found out only after moving in. It really felt like she did not care for what we needed, but only cared for getting her monthly sales up.In terms of market guidance, she completely misled us. The market was going down visibly but she would give us the standard bay-area talk about being a seller's market. Initially she called us very often to push us to remove all contingencies, but immediately stopped responding afterwards. She left us to deal with all repair work and even get the house cleaned upon handover. It was like she was acting for the seller rather than us. Please beware and careful with this lady.

Gist: Ranju made the process look like no hassles anyhow, introduced us to right people for the loan processing, pre-move in work, gave lot of options & supported our decisions always and we strongly recommend her to anyone willing to do a smart choice of buying house here. We've heard stories & also experienced as agents tend to operate remote after first meet, disinterested, not so quick responsive or being selective in what houses they show, trying to push you to buy in an area of their preference, etc. And for the fact, Ranju was our second realtor, we met at an open house in San Jose. Very impressed during our first talks, decided to work with her and now we are here with our dream house! Ranju is an all-rounder as she has also contacts to assist you for anything you need help for. There are many great realtor's out there, but she would stand high amongst all of them. Ranju was incredible throughout the process, specifically: - In understanding as what our budget was & what were we looking in an house to own - Notified us of interesting houses matching our preferences right from day one we had our official meet - Accommodating house tours to our busy IT schedule - During the visit, she was informative and honest about the conditions of the house, saying upfront of what's good and what's not. We always asked questions about each un-normal thing observed & Ranju patiently clarified all of them giving a brief history on the same. - She got disclosures upon request, encouraged us to go through in detail and also run by them them with us in detail. - She did comparative market analysis & gave us a price that we were able to afford & the house would be worth for - She made our first offer stick, by selling the offer well to seller agent and the deal was done in a day! (She's incredible at it) - She stayed in touch until we moved in, gave us regular updates, helped us negotiating with sellers to move our stuffs even before escrow close date! Usually the communication slows down after the process is done. But we've turned out as friends & she visits us asking our whereabouts & we feel the warmth of a family now! Overall, we are extremely happy to have picked Ranju as our realtor and wouldn't think twice about working with her again or recommending her to others
