Being first time home buyers in a market like this was a little bit scary. But, we were in the best hands. Samantha explained the whole process to us and made sure we understood everything. She went above and beyond to help us find our new, beautiful house! We are so grateful she was our relator. We would recommend her to all of our family and friends!!

As anyone who has bought or sold real estate might readily attest, the process can be quite daunting, and typically rather stressful. Finding a real estate agent who can facilitate the process in a competent and timely manner can be equally daunting. Often times, connecting with the right agent is just a matter of luck. This scenario is particularly true when looking for property in a place that is distanced from one's primary residence, and, in this case, on an island in the middle of a river. In September of 2022, while visiting friends in the Hammond, New York area, we happened upon a Sotheby's listing for what appeared to be a spectacular off-the-grid island cottage. We weren't necessarily looking to purchase anything, but curiosity set things in motion. A call to Sotheby's (somewhere) linked us locally to one Sarah LaMore of Hunt Real Estate ERA of Watertown, N.Y. We had no idea ,then , how lucky we were about to become. Our initial objective was to find transportation out to the island for a 'look see'. We only had a few days left before departing the area , so things had to happen, if they were going to happen, pretty quickly. Sarah was all over it. Within hours she had scheduled a marine taxi , big enough for our party of six, for the following morning. With great anticipation, we arrived at the marina early. Sarah was already there , waiting for us. The luck I was referring to came our way, as Sarah proved to be as warm and affable as a potential buyer could ask for. As initial inquiry segued into a second visit, then serious inquiry, then discovery, then offer, Sarah facilitated the process beautifully . She was always prompt in returning our many phone calls, getting our many questions answered by the sellers, finding us an area lawyer, helping us choose a marina, and all manner of associated details. I seriously couldn't recommend any real estate agent more than I would Sarah LaMore. She is serious and diligent when she needs to be , and wonderfully engaging , always. The transaction that resulted in us now owning a seasonal island property was completed many months ago. We continue to be in regular touch with Sarah, and now regard her as a lifelong friend. Looking forward to seeing her again this summer.

We are relocating to Syracuse to start a new career and raise a family. Brenna supported and guided us through every step of the homebuying process. She set up a personalized home search portal for us early on so we were able to narrow down the types of homes we liked in the neighborhoods we wanted. When we found a home we liked, she was able to accommodate us with a thorough virtual tour investigating every nook and cranny of the home/property. Samantha was a HUGE help when it came to helping me find my first home. Even with this insane market, Samantha was persistent in learning what my goals were and frequently showing me houses that met my criteria. She was extremely knowledgeable of the area I was looking in as well as other potential areas he was recommending. When it came to the houses we looked at, Samantha was able to tell me accurate ballpark costs for fixing or replacing anything I asked about and was quick to steer me away from houses with issues she thought I wouldn?t be able to handle.
