Heres our short review: Tori Beth is a wondering real estate agent in Opelika! She is totally the one you want on your team! If you want to know more about my familys specific experience using Tori Beth as our selling agent, keep reading!! She did a wonderful job quickly and efficiently selling our single-family home in Opelika at the end of the summer in 2019. Bobby and I moved from the Atlanta area a year prior and we were accustomed to extremely fast home sales, and we knew that the market in Opelika may offer us a different experience. When my husband, Bobby, and I first contacted her on the phone in mid-July, she was personable, knowledgeable, and patient with us as we told her about our indecision and hesitations about selling our house in Opelika. She was quick to ease our fears and answer our endless questions. We had talked to a few other agents, and planned to call a few others, but once we talked to her, we really felt that she would be the right person to help sell our home. On the same afternoon as our first phone conversation, Tori Beth quickly and discretely dropped off her info packet for us to review and we then scheduled a time for her to come see our home to help us decide on listing price and when to list. She has an awesome teammate, Patsy, who came along for many of the meetings, facilitated some paperwork, and gave helpful insights through out the process as well.When we listed our house, we hit the market at the end of the summer, about a week or so of the school year starting in our local school districts. Knowing this time of the year can be an awkward time to sell a house, Bobby and I were extremely nervous, but Tori Beth kept us calm and reassured, while still being realistic with us about the potential time line. Additionally, as we were putting finishing touches and getting ready to hit the market, Tori Beth helped us navigate the murky waters of figuring out how to get a new roof for our home. She was extremely helpful with every step when getting our house aEURoebuying readyaEUR?, from getting a handle on any pest issues, roofing issues, HVAC issues, etc. she was available and had the resources to get the job done. At one point, our air conditioner stopped working one morning and it was fixed before I got home from work at 3:30pm thanks to Tori Beth! We went under contract within two weeks of our house hitting the market. Tori Beth had been realistic with us from the beginning; she was always very positive about the potential our home had in terms of selling, but kept us aware that the market could be funky at times and we may not sell as quickly as we had previously in Atlanta. But, our Good Lord provided us with an amazing real estate agent and brought us the right buyers, we were under contract within two weeks! Many, many thanks are due to Tori Beths amazing marketing skills (facebook, realtor open house, drone footage!, etc.), our house was under contract within two weeks of listing it! She was an awesome negotiator and I think all parties involved in the process were happy with the terms and price we closed with. We closed in mid-September and we could not be more satisfied with our experience with Tori Beth Thompson! If you are looking for a personable, yet professional, quick-witted, yet efficient real estate agent, she is the one for you!
