We worked with John for over a year before we bought our house. He was so patient and answered every text and phone call. Finally when we went under contract he was there to help with repairs and make sure they were taken care of in a timely matter. Unfortunately our closing date kept getting delayed but he always reassured us the purchase will happen. Finally we closed!! We would use John again and again and will recommend him to anyone wanting to buy or sell their house. He truly is the best!!

We couldn't have asked for a better realtor than John Laney. Our home-buying journey wasn't straightforward. The first house we were under contract for ended up falling apart during negotiations. Looking back, I'm incredibly grateful it did. John patiently walked us through every option, explained the pros and cons, and never pressured us one way or the other. That experience opened our eyes to things we hadn't considered, and not long afterward we found what is truly our **home**. In hindsight, walking away from the first house was absolutely the right decision. Throughout both transactions, John's communication was outstanding. He was always available, kept us informed every step of the way, and negotiated confidently on our behalf. When we found the home we ultimately purchased, he helped us negotiate a repair by providing the sellers and their realtor with detailed photos and a video, making the process simple and stress-free. What truly sets John apart, though, is how he treats his clients. He didn't just help us buy a houseaEUR"he made the experience enjoyable for our entire family. He included our kids throughout the process, letting them help with video walkthroughs of potential homes and making them feel like an important part of the journey. By the end, John felt more like family than someone we hired for a business transaction. If you're looking for a realtor in the Newberg area who genuinely cares, communicates exceptionally well, negotiates effectively, and always goes the extra mile, I wholeheartedly recommend John Laney. We are so thankful for everything he did to help us find the perfect home, and we wouldn't hesitate to work with him again.

Working with John to sell our investment property was smooth and well-executed. He was incredibly responsive, did thorough market research, and brought solid knowledge of the local landscape. Every Monday, he sent an email update covering everything: potential interest, number of showings, where we were in the closing process. That kind of consistent communication kept us in the loop without having to ask. Once we were under contract, he and his transaction coordinator kept things moving without us having to chase down details. What stood out most was his hustle. John didn't just list the property; he actively worked to get it sold. That energy and commitment made a real difference.

Excellent communication and the home sold faster than we expected. Great marketing . Jordyn was great to work with and very knowledgeable of the area. We sold our home faster than expected and was a smooth process throughout the entire transaction.

To say that John was thorough is an understatement. He was with us till the very end of our sale. That end was our giving items away after our estate sale. I totally recommend John for any real estate transaction in Newberg. You will not be disappointed. Three full price offers within two weeks.
