Be prepared - she is going to be honest with you about what it will take to get your home in the way you need. Sally also knows where you will be able to get what you want and is a pro at balancing the value for your money with getting you in a great area. She is also creative in her negotiations and adds a lot of value to your offer without just throwing money at the seller - a skill that not every negotiator thinks to have. David was a wealth of knowledge about the structure of the home and sees so many things that I was not even looking for. He can tell if parts of the home are going to be expensive to fix or easy to take care of and is truly dedicated. He can and will get down on the floor, nose to the concrete, to look down a strange basement drain for you. He has an eagle eye for everything - the age of the roof, if the water heater was professionally installed, and even if a tree might need to be removed! As a first time home buyer, and someone buying a home alone, this whole process can be anxiety inducing at best. However, with David and Sally I was in such good hands and put so at ease. I cannot imagine any realtors who could make it less stressful than Sally & David.

The Hansons, although working in the capacity of agents to assist with a difficult home sale during a divorce, became more than agents. They were advisors, experts, legal-aids, accountants and maybe even therapists in the end. Sally gives freely of her time to all in need of guidance and 110% puts the client before herself in all situations. David is willing to pull up his sleeves and get right to work even on physical tasks to assist with any piece of preparing a property for a quick turnaround. When "everyone knows someone who is a Real Estate Agent" you might find it hard to break from tradition and work with someone your extended family hasn't referred you to. This is the situation where you want to be sure to have agents with proven success track records and extensive experience vs. a nice person your family member knows well. You need Sally and David who will tell it like it is and not just push you to do your end of the home preparation piece, however, will jump in and give of their time and talents in whatever capacity is needed. They are generous people and made themselves available around the clock as needed. I've referred the Hanson - both - to others and each has commended them on their expertise. Why not have two for the price of one! Sally and David quickly sold our home. You won't regret giving them a call.
