Abteen so so great at what he does. I was referred to him by my brother in which he as helped him with the two homes he has purchased. It was my first time purchasing a home and Abteen helped me along the way. The initial phone conversation we had was great, He really took time to listed to what I was looking for in a home. When we first met at the first property, he was prepared in giving all the listing that we were going to see along with his business card. From that point on, he showed me houses in Frederick, and the areas that I wanted to look from all over Montgomery County, Howard County and even Laurel. I was very impressed with the knowledge that he had within each area we looked for a home. He knew all the layouts of the different properties, the neighborhoods, shopping centers near by, leisure activities and schools. 30 plus houses later, he was able to help me find a home. I'm a single parent with a child which he knew . So if there was a property that needed a lot of work or just not livable for my family, he would speak up and tell me that this isn't a good home. He always made time to show me properties within the time that the properties go live. I was also very impressed by his knowledge with contracting. When I did the inspection for the property that I ended up buying, the inspector had showed me the same things that Abteen showed in the houses we looked at. Abteen was very detailed and thorough with showing me every inch of each property. Pointing out the flaws of the properties. checking out if appliances and electrical worked, running the water and checking the plumbing, structural work, paint jobs and repairs, always checking the balcony to make sure that it was well built. All the important things that you would want to be pointed out especially if you don't have the eye to see them for yourself. He will definitely fight for you. I started looking for homes beginning of COVID. The first year I can say was a learning experience. She showed me homes in different area to help me decide on where I would like to live. It was a very competitive market and still is at that time. Due to the completive market I lost some bids and it was very emotional but he was there to give me hope and kept telling me that he is going to find a home for me and my son. I believed in him and continued with him until we found the home we have. He will keep fight and negotiate with sellers and seller agents, even if something doesn't seem fair within the process. He will keep calling until he gets an answer. He processes paperwork right away. He is always available when you call or text him. The home that we have now after inspection. He saw that the seller didn't address the issues that were listed. he got on the phone right away when we were at the home and expressed that the seller didn't address the things they were supposed to do. That was the same day as my closing. He said that they have 30 days to fix or I will get payment because the items weren't addressed. The Escrow was very impressed that he was able to pull that off and I was as well. That's the kind of things that you would want a agent to do for you. And that is what makes him special and makes him great at what he does. We have seen over 30 plus houses due to the COVID, competitive market, me branches out my search , and just being very picky but at the end of it all it was so worth it. I had a great agent by my side that listen to me and knowing what I wanted, looking out for me in making sure that it was a good purchase to make, teaching me along the way, looking out for me and my son, and not giving up on me when I was down about the market. Thanks to him I was able to find my first home.
