We were really stressed about a big family move from Washington, DC to Boston and finding good schools for our kids. Andi Bauer and the team at Encore Realty were great aEUR" and we would use them again and recommend them to others looking or selling in Brookline / Boston.

Truly the worst person to work with ever. So horrible at communicating, very unprofessional, and unhelpful. Went to an apartment tour with her and she said nothing... didn't even shake our hands. Would send texts like "..." and give us ultimatums. Finished the application process, and she asked for co-signers on 4/20. She then proceeded not to answer us because she was celebrating the holiday and out for work. After a full morning of texts asking her to call to get on the same page, she said gave us an ultimatum to get everything done by 2 pm or else she would pull our deposit and application. Again, didn't respond to my texts or answer any of my calls throughout the entire day. Then we agreed for her to pull our app, she lied and said we wouldn't be able to apply. We called apt's management directly and they said we were the only application... pulled it so quickly. The worst.

I had a positive experiences working with Michela for an apartment search. She was knowledgeable for the market and communicated well. I would recommend her to others in their search.

Had a great experience with Encore Realty insecuring a competitive apartment. Andi Bauerwent above and beyond to lock us in and get the unit the same day which is crucial in the Boston market. Would recommend to a friend. Only critique would be a need for a more robust payment portal option. We had trouble getting zelle to work with the information provided and other options like venmo and wire transfers can add additional fees to the process.

Amanda was amazing! The market is really competitive and Amanda did a great job giving us an edge. She made sure to make a personal connection with every agent at every open house. This helped us know what was most important to the sellers and allowed us to make strong offers. She is a great communicator and extremely patient. We must have attended at least 30 open houses and you can always count on her to give her honest opinion. This allowed us to always feel confident with our decisions. I think she was as excited to find our dream home as we were. Thanks to Amanda for making it happen! You rock!
