Our house was an unusual house and selling after 43 years could have been a difficult experience. It was originally a carriage house for the house next door. In the early 1900s it was converted to a house and subsequently had three additions. When we decided to sell, we interviewed several agents. Most of them told us all the negatives of our house being on a main road and a different style which would not appeal to many. Some even said, the feature that would sell the house would be the land. Melissa and Stacy, her real estate partner, presented a totally different picture. They both loved the house for its unique features, and craftsmanship in the conversion and additions and thought it would sell quickly and should be priced 25% higher than the other agents. When the listing went live and we worried about all the negatives other agents has pointed out, they both were encouraging and upbeat, sold the house in 10 days and kept us smiling through the whole process. We love you both.
