For my fiance and I, the idea of buying our first home was truly daunting. We weren't sure what we could afford, where we should look or how to navigate the process. Did we contact the agents listed on Zillow pages? Did we just use the sellers agent? Who could we trust? As the first of our friends to consider buying, we were somewhat on our own! That is, until we were connected with Damian. From the first time he contacted us, I knew we were in good hands. He was friendly, responsive (via email, text, calls, however you need to reach him) and quickly set up an intro to one of the towns we wanted to consider. A resident of this area himself, you can tell he has a passion for the community he lives and works in. He sent us a number of properties to help us get a feel for what was out there and sent new listings as soon as they became available. He quickly honed in on what we were looking for and that understanding was reflected in the houses he wanted us to see in person. Plus, he had no shortage of recommendations for restaurants, shops and things to do in the area. He accompanied us on a number of visits to potential homes and when we found "the one", he walked us through every step of the process. All the way, we felt like we could trust and rely on him. Once we put our offer in, that's where things get really interesting. We began to appreciate what a business this industry is - the amount of people involved, the costs, the legal back and forth - it's exhausting. Every step of the way, Damian always had our back and it was clear he worked for us, not for "the business". He referred us to an amazing mortgage lender (he actually gave us three great options and we picked the one that worked best for us) and was equally helpful and responsive with our lender, the seller's team, our lawyer and everyone else that flows in and out of the process. Especially when things got confusing or stressful, a quick text to Damian put us at ease - he always knew what was coming next, what we would need to do or how long to expect something to take. He was proactive, organized and efficient. As a "type A" person who is very organized myself, it was nice to find someone who could keep up with me and humor my constant requests for updates, news and next steps. He accompanied us on our home inspection and final walk-thru and was even present at our closing, just to be a friendly face in the room. Since closing, he's checked in on us, made sure we were settling in well and even got us a thoughtful housewarming gift - a customized doormat that really made our house feel like a home. I cannot begin to recommend Damian enough and plan to refer all of my friends to him when they're ready to look for their first homes. As we've told others about our experience, we're realizing that we were very fortunate to have had a smooth buying process and closing. I owe much of that to Damian and we're so thankful to have found him and had the opportunity to work with him.

We contacted Damian to help us find and buy a home after a family member recommended him. The main adjective used when recommending Damian was that he was a trustworthy person. During our relationship with Damian we confirmed that, but he was much more than that. He was also very resourceful, diligent, responsive, knowledgeable and very professional, and a pleasure to work with. He worked diligently to make the necessary appointments to see all the homes we were interested in seeing and patiently allowed us the time we needed to consider our options, always providing his expert guidance. There were many times when we needed his input and advice, and he was always extremely responsive. We knew he had many other clients, but he always made us feel like we were his only clients. He provided his expert guidance during the entire process, and quickly gained our trust, even helping us navigate through the legal process.
