Zillow only lets me give 5 stars, but Alex earned 10. Alex was our realtor, and he's the reason buying our first home was smooth sailing. He's a great communicator, and that mattered more than I expected. He stayed on top of the seller's realtor the whole way through and got our offers submitted quickly, which honestly helped us win the bid. He also kept our timeline on track, so we closed when we were supposed to. That's what you want from the person you're working with: someone who is clear, responsive, and efficient. He came to every showing already knowing the place inside and out, and we never felt pushed toward anything. If we weren't feeling a house, he said okay and moved on to the next one. What really got me is that we've already closed and he's still helping us. We need to make minor adjustments to the house, and instead of saying "good luck," he got us in touch with his plumber and electrician and made sure it got handled.
