Compass Real Estate

My partner and I recently closed on our new home, and we couldn't have had a better experience working with Kevin Carlson as our realtor. From the beginning of our search and over many months, Kevin was an amazing resource and guide to the housing market in DC. He helped us explore various neighborhoods in the DMV area to get a better sense of what we were looking for and was extremely knowledgeable about each. Over many weekends and countless property visits (and even a few second looks), he ways always patient and never rushed us into making a decision. It was clear that helping us to find the perfect home, even if it took some time, was his top priority. Kevin is deeply invested in understanding what his clients are looking for and helping them navigate the real estate market even in difficult and uncertain times. He was always honest and straightforward with us about his thoughts on a property and its value. When we found our ideal home, he guided us through the negotiations with the seller, the home inspection, and the closing process, making it all feel much more manageable. Even after the closing, he was an amazing resource for contractors, landscapers, and much more. Kevin is a fantastic realtor and true professional, and we would strongly recommend him for anyone looking for a home in the DMV area.

Kevin was wonderful to work with to buy our first home. He was patient, really got to understand what we were looking to buy, and made sure we got the right house. I would definitely recommend him working with him!

If you are looking to buy a home in the DMV, you want Kevin Carlson on your side. Kevin made our experience as first-time homebuyers as smooth as possible. He was there for us day and night, answering all our emails, texts, and endless questions. Kevin was able to walk us through the entire process, and expertly handled tough negotiations in a crazy housing market so that we walked away with a GREAT offer. We can not thank Kevin enough for making our first home buying experience so great. We will be reaching back out to Kevin in a few years to help us sell AND buy our next home, and we highly recommend that you do the same.

Kevin was absolutely outstanding to work with from start to finish. He is incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely had our best interests at heart throughout the entire process. What really set Kevin apart was his ability to give thoughtful, strategic advice without ever making us feel pressured. He helped us navigate every decision with confidence and made what can be a stressful process feel smooth and manageable. One of the biggest highlights was that Kevin actually found our home before it even hit the market--something that gave us a huge advantage and ultimately helped us land a place we love. Even after closing, Kevin hasn't disappeared like many realtors do. He still checks in, makes himself available for questions, and clearly cares about his clients beyond just the transaction. If you're looking for someone who is proactive, trustworthy, and truly goes above and beyond, Kevin is the one you want on your side. We couldn't recommend him more highly.

Kevin came highly recommended from a friend. He took a strong armed approach, organizing video/photos and marketing materials promptly, and back-to-back showings scheduled upon first day listed. The unit sold at a record high for the building after only a week on market. Kevin continues to keep his eye out for future properties that may suit my needs. Highly recommend.
