We purchased a single-family home in the Eastmont Hills of Oakland in 2024. My wife and I have been friends with Mathew for many years and had seen firsthand how thoughtfully and effectively he helped others navigate the process of buying their first home. He brought that same level of care and expertise to our experience. Mathew was flexible with his schedule, consistently available to tour homes with us, patient as we refined our preferences, and confidently advocated for us during negotiations with sellers. His guidance made the process smooth and reassuring, and we felt supported every step of the way.

We couldnt have asked for a better guide through the journey of buying our first home. Matthew has been a long time friend of ours, but beyond his professionalism, we got to first hand experience an integrity to the way he works thats rare to find in the realty business. His knowledge of the market and the entire buying process gave us confidence at every turn. He answered our endless questions with patiences and clarity, never making us feel rushed or overwhelmed as we all know, buying a house is stressful at times! What stood out most was his attentiveness; he truly listened to what we wanted and needed, and he was always just a call or text away. Matthew gave us honest guidance even when it wasnt what we wanted to hear, and we trusted him completely because of it. His energy and positive aura made what could have been a stressful experience actually enjoyable, always leaving our conversations feeling optimistic and reassured. Thanks to Matthew, were now in our first home, and we genuinely couldnt have done it without his help. If youre looking for someone who will treat your goals like his own, we recommend Matthew wholeheartedly!

Close friends of ours recommended Paul Talbot which put us on the right track. Paul did a great job and really knows the local market. He guided us through the process of selling our home with care and patience. Paul has excellent response time and is knowledgeable of all aspects of real estate. His selection for staging and choices in prep proved exactly what worked for the sale. We were very impressed by way our home was presented, and the work that was put into the home was amazing! Pauls expert advice, planning and strategy was exactly what we needed to succeed. We recommend Paul and his team for any real estate needs. We are very happy with the results!

I recently bought a wonderful condo in Oakland's Lakeshore neighborhood with the help of Paul and Team Talbot. Over the years, my friend group has actually used Paul and Jade for various purposes (5 purchases and 1 sell) and there's a reason we keep coming back! Paul made the process as easy could be in the tough Bay Area market. He made a stellar recommendation for a lender, which also went smoothly despite an out-of-my-control problem with a balcony. Regardless, Paul made it work and was clear and communicative the whole way. Paul was super easy to work with, always available, gave clear advice/instruction, and really put the control in my hands throughout the process. No complaints at all, and I've been very happy. I've also been thrilled with the contractor recommendations he's made (cleaning and moving so far), and as my friends have reported, they are happy as well. Paul has been around the area long enough to know the market well and to know where to go to get things done. Overall, I'd recommend him and his team to anyone. Thanks Paul!

We can not say enough good things about the Talbot Team and Paul. Paul helped us get our house in beautiful condition, facilitated work with an outstanding team of professionals (staging, landscaping, cleaning, handywork), and sold our house for a record price. Would work with them again and again and again. Thanks Talbots & team!
