Heather Cooper recently helped my husband and me purchase a co-op apartment. Though not our first time buying a property, it was our first venture into NYC co-ops. Heather was our lifeline throughout the process and kept everything moving. She was available, reliable, communicative, and always professional. She went to bat for us in every situation and guided us through the complicated and long process. In our interactions with other professionals involved in the purchase, we heard time and again that she was exceptionally knowledgeable and supportive of her clients. Additionally, she went above and beyond by helping me locate a wonderful realtor in Oregon to sell my elderly parents house. We appreciated Heathers thoughtfulness and evident real estate acumen throughout the buying process and would be delighted to work with her again in the future.

Heather made our first-time buying experience very simple, patiently laying out the process and setting expectations for how long steps would take and what options and decisions there were to make. She connected us with other professionals for lending and insurance who we liked better than the ones we found on our own. Most importantly, Heather helped us deal with some unexpected last-minute problems, advocating for us and making sure the other party properly addressed our concerns - without her, we wouldn't have known what to do!

If I could give zero stars, I would. Heather is the most disorganized, unprofessional person I have ever worked with in any capacity. Her communication was erratic and often incomprehensible, she would send us random rambling selfie video messages as part of the communication despite us repeatedly asking that all communication stay in writing, and was not respectful of our work schedules by insisting on calling or meeting at whatever time was best for her. Most importantly though, she rented us a unit that has severe water damage of which we were unaware upon signing, but as a professional real estate agent of 20+ years as she advertises, she should have noticed upon inspection of the unit. We are now 3 weeks into a 2 year lease that she brokered for us and we are dealing with serious living condition issues in our unit. Building maintenance took one look and immediately said there was a serious water damage that will affect the unit below ours. This is not what we want to deal with during the holidays (also the busiest time of year for our respective jobs), after paying her exorbitant fee. DO NOT WORK WITH THIS WOMAN IF YOU CAN AVOID IT
